The School of Criminal Justice has created a three-course online certificate program that allows working professionals and graduate students to enhance their knowledge base in international aspects and to further their career or academic plans.
Courses are offered entirely online, and are taught by the same faculty members who are involved in the on-campus program. A number of online support services are available to assist students.
Requirements
To obtain the certificate, students must successfully complete the following coursework:
- CJ 822 - Comparative Criminal Justice - 3 Credits
- CJ 823 - Globalization of Crime - 3 Credits
and one of the following:
- CJ 809 - Issues in Criminal Justice: Public/Private Partnerships in Emergency Preparedness - 3 Credits
- CJ 838 - Terrorism - 3 Credits
